Journal Publications
Authors of a number of selected papers will be invited to extend their SEB16 papers for a number of Journal special editions. Each of the selected papers will be subjected to the normal review procedure of the specific journal and they should be prepared according to guidelines which can be found in the journal's instructions for authors.

Engineering Sustainability
Engineering Sustainability provides a forum for sharing the latest thinking from research and practice, and increasingly is presenting the 'how to' of engineering a resilient future. The journal features refereed papers and shorter articles relating to the pursuit and implementation of sustainability principles through engineering planning, design and application. The tensions between and integration of social, economic and environmental considerations within such schemes are of particular relevance. Methodologies for assessing sustainability, policy issues, education and corporate responsibility will also be included. The aims will be met primarily by providing papers and briefing notes (including case histories and best practice guidance) of use to decision-makers, practitioners, researchers and students.

Building Services Engineering Research & Technology (BSER&T)
Building Services Engineering Research & Technology (BSER&T) is the foremost peer reviewed journal that publishes research relevant to today`s Built Environment; covering the full range of energy and environmental services in buildings, including: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, building electrical services, building acoustics, water supply and sanitation and vertical transport. Four high quality papers will be selected from the SEB16 conference by members of the steering committee also according to advices of session chairs. Authors will need to develop the content of their papers by at least 30%, including a revised title and abstract in order to be considered for the special issue of BSER&T. Submission of papers will be by January 2017, through the SAGE online system in the normal way and authors can suggest reviewers and the editorial board of BSER&T will also assign other reviewers. Members of the SEB16 committee will provide a guest editorial giving support to the Managing Editor for the paper review and revision process. The accepted papers can be published around June 2017.
